Your role as Functional Consultant:

We’re hiring a Functional Consultant to deliver successful customer implementations—leading discovery, configuration, testing, training, and go-live. You’ll be a trusted partner to customers and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
As an agile dynamic organisation, you’ll also flex into pre-sales support, trade shows/events, and customer success initiatives when needed.

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Along side the Project Manager you will lead implementations end-to-end: kickoff → discovery → configuration → testing → training → go-live
  • Run workshops to understand workflows and translate them into solution designs and configuration
  • Document requirements, functional specs, and configuration decisions clearly
  • Create and execute test plans; support UAT and issue triage through to resolution
  • Train customer admins and key users; provide rollout/adoption best practices
  • Support partner-led implementations (enablement, guidance, QA)
  • Contribute to sales cycles with solution input (scoping, demos, answering functional questions)
  • Represent WorkJam at events/trade shows with product demos and functional discussions
  • Share customer feedback internally to improve product and delivery playbooks

 

 

What we’re looking for (must-haves):

  • 3+ years implementing SaaS or delivering digital products in a customer-facing role (Implementation, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, BA/Consulting)
  • Strong requirements gathering + workshop facilitation (remote and/or onsite)
  • Able to translate business needs into practical configurations and clear documentation
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders from frontline ops to IT leadership
  • Organized and delivery-focused: can manage multiple projects, timelines, and expectations
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working in a fast-changing environment
  • Willingness to travel up to ~25%

Nice to have:

  • Workforce management / frontline / HCM ecosystem experience (e.g., UKG or similar)
  • Experience with integrations (APIs/SSO), data imports, or light technical troubleshooting
  • Business Analysis toolkit and/or implementation methodology experience
  • Additional languages (e.g., German or French)
